Junior Ranger Program

Explore. Learn. Protect.

The National Park Service offers activity-based Junior Ranger programs in almost all parks, with some programs available nationally. These programs provide educational, interactive experiences for young visitors modified and adapted by age. Once they complete the activity, young visitors receive a park-specific badge and may go through a Junior Ranger "swearing-in" ceremony to become part of the National Park Service Junior Ranger "family."
